Whatever. I know it had nothing to do with the outcome of the game but it just gets old…. One guy saying state completely dominated the Griz in the last four years in all sports.. really do we need to listen yo that BS.

The NBA provides two synched play by play audio streams for all games. Fans have the choice to select which announcers to tun-in with. That could easily be provided for all ESPN streams as well. I've long thought the quality of most (not all) Big Sky game announcers to be significantly below Montana's always top quality announcers. Frankly, I chose NOT to listen to the provided play by play for tonight's game. Since the radio stream is normally several seconds to minutes of the videocast, I've also found it difficult to listen to Riley Corcoran call the action several seconds before I watch the action. But it CAN be done. I think it's time.I would love to select my team's game broadcast over any broadcast from any other Big Sky school.

I might be biased, but I think that the announcers tried, and did a good job of calling the game well for both teams. I know that the main Play-by-Play guy talked extensively about how good UMs Bannon and Moody are, and how UM is one of the most dangerous teams in the Big Sky... It is probably Tuff to call a game that has no flow, and more fouls than Field goals... Sure the comment about the Cats being above the griz in most sports fir the past 4 years hurts to hear, but it is true, and a comment that would be made on the griz side by these same announcers if it was the other way around.... Again though, I probably am biased towards the two announcers.

I do this often. You can sync them by pausing one a couple seconds to catch up to the other.

I'll give it a try. I have always listened to Riley via the actual radio broadcast, which can't be paused on my device (an old pocket transistor radio).:roll:

That might be difficult. I’ll watch the game on tv through the espn app and listen to the game on my phone through the kgvo app. Oddly enough the app works better then trying to stream kgvo online. Online keeps cutting out and I’ll constantly have to repause it. The app plays smother w/out the breaks in service.

Agree totally......from the Silver Maroon scrimmage on.

Last night had espn+ crew and the CW local crew so two different Pbp and color commentators. Jeff Ryggs on CW cast thought Bannon scored every point for the Griz.

I thought the announcers did a solid job kept up with the play by play. A little bias. Did a very good job of explaining Moody's charge call on what could have been a four point play.
One of my pet peeves now days is radio announcers that has duel responsibility but tries to do color over play by play.
I felt that was done in the Ladies game.

Personally I can’t stand Riley. His whispering antic to emphasize something is obnoxious. Worse is the fact that he takes 3-4 topics each game and beats it to death mentioning those topics throughout his call sometimes 10-12 times each over and over. I prefer the Lady Griz announcer far better.

I will say Riley is far better when he shares the broadcast with someone. He is very adapt at involving another. And he calls a game different. Maybe he just needs to kill airtime by himself.
