Here's my Huskie friend's analysis. He has season tickets.

"Program in a mess. Pretty good player but not game changer in pac 12 play. Can put up some big nights when hot. Might be better than I think in program with coaching and development and a team identity

Making sense that Hopkins was asst for entire career prior to uw. Had good pac
12 results first two years with predecessor's guys... and there were some good guys.

Fallen apart over last 2 years. 10-36 I think is stat since 12/31/2019. Had 2 first round one and Doners last season and cellar of pac 12. Went even deeper into cellar this year."

Well same could be said for the Montana schools. We’re sitting home while a kid from Missoula and a kid from Billings are playing today in the tourney.

And I disagree about the body language. It was bad for a while, but after Steadman left and they went on that winning streak, I thought there was a fairly dramatic change. But that’s about the fifth time I’ve seen someone post the “I’ve heard it’s gonna be bad” or a “bloodbath” of people entering the portal....talk about some bullshit. Either post the names or don’t post that crap at all...because it appears at this point you’re just perpetuating a rumor that NO ONE has validated.

I get no benefit about stating something about UW. Why would I just make stuff up? So I can look cool on an anonymous message board? Also, would you expect me to say my grandson is best friends with player X at UW and he said these 4 players were planning on transferring? Plus some of it is just common sense. A 5-21 team where kids would go from DNPs one game to starting the next and then back to DNPs would naturally indicate there will be a number of transfers. If Vegas had a 3 over/under for transfers I would take the over. The same as I would for any D-1 team in similar circumstances regardless of if I had never seen them play or had no information.

I think I may end up being half right on this. There are already UW 3 transfers and I believe there will be a few more. So I think I nailed the transfer part. However, they already got Arizona transfer and Seattle native Terrell Brown to commit and there are a few other Sea-Tac natives in the portal that could be nice pick-ups, Eason made the all-freshman team at Cincy and Matthews was a starter for West Virginia.
