Hoping for my favorite play ever

favorite play ever? a kick return by the dynamic duo of Heidelberger and Segars. :clap:

All those are awesome. Marc Mariani's performance against SDSU playoff game just seemed like one long play to me. For a WR to impact a game like that, is amazing at any level.

Yup; my bad. Gatewood was gone by '06. Jefferson had 3 recetions in that game for 20 yards.

That only works when it's 4th and short though... so unless we get in a 4th and 1 situation I doubt we'll see that punt return formation. It was by far my favorite play ever though. The "lets kick off to begin both halves" was a close second.

I'm really hoping that the playbook will be opened up completely this year and we'll try something tricky like handing the ball off to the opposing team...that ought to really throw them off!

But it's hard to beat the hit that knocked Gatewood's hat off in the '06 Cat game; he was looking over his shoulder the rest of the game and never caught a pass.

Uh-oh, Delaney hasn't seen this has he? HAS HE? This thread needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY since there is still time to get this one into the Griz game plan...
 
I'm hoping for the "hook and ladder" that the immortal Dave D. ran with Damon Boddie and another receiver back in '94(?) at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow. I was there, and it was AWESOME!
 
My favorite all time play, though not exclusive to the Griz, is throwing a 5 yard pass when it's 3rd and 10. :thumb:
 
Okay, okay. I like that play where the running back lines up about eight yards behind the quarterback, and everybody in the entire stadium knows he's going right up the gut, and he gets dropped for a 3-yard loss.
