Hitting

I've always thought the Griz were by far the hardest hitting team in the FCS, I won't even try to list all of the good hits made but I saw one on Appy State and one in Oregon that stands out. This year it seems we are content to reach, grap, hold and drag. Why?

It's Engstrom! I'm not exactly sure how but as soon as I find my misplaced tin foil hat I will let you know.

Just read eGriz. Thus far it's the entire universe's fault, but I beg to differ. I blame one simple element:

It's about as logical to blame the rain as it is any of the other elements that have been named.

Some of it is youth. When #49 blitzed stopped and reached his arms out to try and tackle the QB, I couldn't believe it, he had him dead. I hope it is just youth. I think most of our guys play all out and hit pretty hard.

Coyle's play the last few weeks has really been elevated! Root announcer said best linebackers (as a group) in the Big Sky.
