Is Dean Bresciani taking for granted the Bison will march into Missoula and beat Montana in the season opener next Saturday? You can bet the Montana brass have taken note of the “confidence” for that all-important bulletin board material.

Yes, we know Lee Fitting and ESPN love it here and have made it known they would like to return. But they will not be here if the Bison are 1-1. Or 2-1. Or even 3-1. It’s a general known concept that a returning FCS champion better be unbeaten to get the show.

It sucks that Game Day came to Fargo and then ESPN didn't even broadcast the game. T-Buffs have had the pregame show, but have to come to Missoula to actually get on ESPN for the game. That doesn't seem like fair treatment.

but sheesh it is a damn site early to be this cocky in West Minnesota.

Don't they have to play No Dakota this year?
The Beezon have historically been the Sioux's whipping boy.

Perhaps the better question is if Game Day even mentions them if they start the season winless.
