Hey Delaney supporters, come out and play!

I won't defend his errors and him/his team have made many costly ones this season. However, he still has my support.
The team always has my support..... However #28 should not be returning punts..... I'll give him "RB" props..... But there's gotta' be a better option at punt returner....

1) Allowing the clock to tick off an additonal 30 plus seconds near the end of the 2nd qtr instead of calling a time-out so we could have additional time for the offense..
2) Three time-outs left late in the 4th and instead of calling one of them and talking about the play to call when the game was most definately on the line.... (4th down)
3) No press coverage on the wide-outs at all....... SUU marched down the field with down and outs the whole second half.
4) Allowing Nguyen to field punts
5) Honeslty can you identify our offensive game-plan/philosophy? What exactly do we have here? Kirschner and Counts.... Two power runners....... Moore out...... Maybe we should use them a little to try and change defensive personnel and positioning so we can try and exploit a weekness or maybe pick up a much needed yard or two.
We are way to predictable..... No denying it...

Didn't notice no. 1. Agree on no. 2. Corners aren't experienced enough to press. Neutral on 4. I'm not an offense guy, but I don't have an issue with the offensive strategy. I could see having used a power runner a few times. However, all of these thing don't add up to much, in my view.
1) More time at the end of the 1st half..... Coulda' been worth 6 points...
2) How does not calling a time-out in that situation not have an impact??? We lost on a check-down... How does this not "add up to much"
3) Our soft corner coverage is starting to kill us. Experience or not we have to try and adjust. The corners are going to have to live on an island from time to time or we're going to get shredded each and every game from here on out
4) Give #4 Kirschner a shot..... #28 most definately cost us 6 points...

Trying press if we don't have the ability to do press, will hurt us more than help us. I don't agree that our soft coverage is killing us. I'm fine with giving the bigger backs more of a chance, with Moore out, but doubt it would have impacted anything. Yes, 28 cost us 6, but 28 was a big help in getting us more than 6. That's why he was the offensive player of the game.

a) I totally disagree.... Changes up the defensive personnel...... Throws a wrench into the works.... Makes the other guy adjust to you..... Maybe creates a "12 men on the field" penalty... They were allowed to play with the same defensive backfield pretty much the entire game.... As an offense you can't allow the defense that luxury..

b) Just shows you how screwed up this shiiiiit is starting to get.

Delaney has my support. The big complainers ought to get off the bandwagon.

Didn't particularly like the defense on the last punt, tho.

How about the other punts when Booger called the same formation?

The coaching staff has 100% of my support this year and they need all of our support.

Holy crap, this fan base is spoiled. There isn't a program in this country that could have the offseason we've had and expect to play just as they did the previous season. Our coaching staff has made a lot of mistakes, but have also been put in a very difficult position and have challenges that most staffs aren't having to deal with. Rightfully or wrongly, our administrators decided that we are going to rebuild our football program. I know you guys aren't used to a rebuilding year, but that's what we are having. It takes a lot of hard work and it takes the support of fans and alumni. Delaney will be our coach next year and will very likely retain the coordinators. Like many of the other rookie head coaches and coordinators we've had, they will improve and players will get more comfortable with the system.

I can't wait for all of you bandwagon jumpers to be eating crow next year when Delaney leads us into a deep playoff run...

Delaney couldn't lead a horse to water if he was standing with the horse on a river bank. I'll be the first to re-post and say I was wrong if he leads the Griz on a deep playoff run (2 victories) next year.

I said a while ago that this year was going to be a replay of 2010. Young quarterback. New staff. Lots of starters graduating. Add into that the shit storm of the off season. I have had numerous WTF moments over the past month and a half, but I had them in 2010 during Pflus first season. I had them during Hauck's first season and every other season after that. Who can forget Glenn's first game with Hofstra. Mick needs to learn fast. Quit reinventing the wheel. Quit trying to be cute with formations and going away from tendencies. I think that this season is a .500 at best. I assumed it at the beginning of the year. We really are young. I think he is developing the wrong freshman quarterback. I think AB needs reps. I think that you already burned Counts redshirt, then you should be playing him. I think that someone else should be returning punts. Time to work toward next year.
