The HBC is last year's OC. I don't think you're going to see them go nuts with changes to the offense. They play defense well. I think their returner is touted as the best in the conference. If the long snapper can keep it in the stadium, they'll likely be competitive.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa! Who are you and what have you done with Soldier? Playoffs? Playoffs? You have no hopes for this team yet you mention playoffs? What is happening!

This Wildcat bunch should be a contender. We'll have a better feel for what they can be after the UU game. If we are at least competitive against them, that will be an indication of our strength in FCS play. I don't expect them to take us lightly after what we did to Utah State last year.

We did have some significant losses, but we also had some significant additions. I don't see a drop off on either side of the ball. I guess the big question is how the new HC will do in his first year. The rest of the staff is the same as last year.

The BSC should set up the schedule so that the top five from the previous year always play each other the following year. It wouldn't eliminate BSC teams from meeting in the playoffs, but it would reduse the chance of first round matchups.
