Herder Ballot 11/3

They don't now, without their QB1, Chase Mason. If he can't come back, I think they will continue to lose games and drop.
That’s my point. We’re introducing soft factors to say X team was Y when they played Z in some cases, but not others, to justify rankings. Now they get to work off of “how good I think they are” when a missed FG and a couple plays in the NDSU game would “give them no choice” but to rank Tarleton #1.

TLDR: FCS poles are illogical and doodoo.

It's not so much a ranking, but it's the same idea we see with certain fans of a certain team talking about SDSU vs. Idaho.

Both have lost key contributors this season, including their talented starting QBs and ate shit against some truly heinous teams.

One team is talked about alongside Portland State and Weber as trash, while the other is given the benefit of the doubt as if they are only losing because of some outside factors they can't control, and are soon to return to top 5 form.

Geez, sheepherder punished sdsu worse than Illinois state did.

And harvard in the top ten?? Stop. Just....stop.

Tarleton has been overrated all year, but because they have been, a close loss won't move them down to 16, where they belong.

Sac would crush any team rated 13 and below.

wtf are we doing at this level?

Exactly the same idea.

It really does feel like it's
1. NDSU
2-3. Montana schools
4-25. playing for the chance to lose to NDSU in Fargo.

NDSU looked beatable in yesterdays match vs Youngstown. Was a tight game all the way. The late kickoff return for 6 by NDSU saved them from possible upset in upset week.

Would love to host them in another playoff game this year and beat them again… in 4 quarters this time instead of 5.
