This is a link to the archived stats on GoGriz where there’s a link to the box score for every single game on the schedule.

This is a link to the current season stats on GoGriz where you’ll find the same individual game links.

Thanks, I couldn't find the archived stats. Sure looks like he only had 73 catches in 2016 not 83.

I just looked at the roster link to the stats which had earlier said 205 I think and it now has his total at 195. Looks like he’ll get to break the record at home this weekend for homecoming. Makes a better story then in a loss on the road.

Let us know if Taber gets back to you.

He did! I’m actually somebody! Jus kidding. Anyway, he said that their software was somehow counting the ‘16 EWU game twice. It has since been remedied and other possible errors have been searched for and all is clear. My bad on the Pacheco numbers also. He sits at 192 so JLM officially broke it with his first rec vs UCD. Unofficialy though, Matt Wells is the king still at 248 if you add in his playoff games, which is done now.

Thanks! Jerry probably still has a good shot at breaking Matt’s unofficial record. Wish the NCAA would go back and revise stats and records to include playoff games going all the way back.

So, 54 catches needed to break that record, with seven regular-season games (and a playoff game or two) ... I'm thinking his chances are "not bad." :)

Well crap. That record won't last long.

First play?

Apparently I misspoke when I said he was actually tied with Raul. He actually broke the record with his first catch against UC Davis. He's now at 195; Raul had 192.

So he actually broke the record to no fanfare at all. ;)

Yep. No fanfare at all for 2 spectacular TD catches.

...which were the two catches AFTER he broke the record....

That’s weird how JLM came into the season without the record, then he broke the record, then he lost it, and then he got it back.

I think they gave him kudos for the record during the Oregon game which may have been premature, but it was noted nonetheless. They probably weren't aware of the foul-up during the Cal-Davis game.

Okay, maybe I was unclear, as it was just a joke anyway, but what I meant was that he broke the record to no fanfare at the time he actually broke it.

He obviously had plenty of fanfare around the breaking of the record (as he should have)...it just wasn't at the time of the actual record-breaking.

Shows just how shifty he is....
