Help in Missoula

Hi everyone
Every year I have a large group of people join me for one griz game. This year we are having 30-40 people. Every year we have a problem finding a place to eat after the game. Most restaurants won't take reservations for that large of a group. We have gone to a friend's house in the past but he has moved from Missoula this year. We have occassionally gone to a park. But the weather doesnt' always work out for that.

Does anyone know of a place that I could rent for a reasonable price for one evening? Or a bar that has a room we can use?

thanks

Have you inquired of the University? I don't know if they still do but they used to cater meals and also served alcohol.

Two years ago, after the Griz/Cat game, I had a party of 35 and we had no problems getting into a banquet room at the Stone restaurant on Reserve. It is an Irish pub. Very good food. You might try that. Not sure I got the name correct...It is Stone something....hope this helps.

Also, Famous Daves BBQ cateres...

The Elbow Room has a large room that would accomodate that size party. :thumb:

This was my thought too. They have several room, including one on the east side. Has tv's and big windows to the inside. I've been to some events like birthday parties in that room.

Ciao Mambo has a private room downstairs. Probably big enough for 40 people. Cool room. We've had our holiday party there the last several years.

Joker's Wild has a downstairs room that could accommodate your group. Down home food choices and very reasonable. Buffet style would be the way to go. Had an event with chicken, meatloaf and many sides. Had rave reviews from all attendees.

Double front downtown has a larger lower level bar/dining area as well, might be worth a call to see if you reserve a spot.
