So if Stitt was a better recruiter does that make Bobby a better coach?

No way to know. Stitt was never given the same opportunity.
He coached the griz for 3 years.. his best year was his first with 8-5 record, then went 6-5 and 7-4 and missed the playoffs 2 years in a row.
Bobbys second year back he racked up 10 wins.
Bobby is a better coach than Stitt. Recruiting doesn't seem much different to me, skill wise anyways.

No way to know. Stitt took over the griz after it's darkest modern era. Bobby was handed great recruits.
Both of them have long enough track records to put it beyond doubt. It’s not even a debate.

Stitts best season was the one with the guys Delaney left him. All downhill from there.
My problem with Stitt was that he seemed to chicken out. He stopped going for it on 4th and 3, he stopped trying to run 100 plays a game, he abandoned the jet sweep. I think he crumbled to pressure from the old school boosters. Aim the rocket at the sun and jam the throttle open, you demented little gnome. Only thing that bothered me was his dislike of the color maroon.

He went to the playoffs 2013 and 2014 his last 2 seasons.

Haha he got you there Indian. Like you said then, Stitt was horrible.
