Griz went 1-1 in two hard fought 1-0 games today. In a losing effort to UNLV, Michaela Hood was dominant allowing 3 hits and striking out 9. Once again though, unlv’s ace shut down the Griz bats. Tristan Achenbach went the distance vs Grand Canyon and her stats weren’t as great, but she got the win. The Griz got one more tomorrow at 11am vs St Joes which is a game we should win but the more I watch softball, the less I think those games exist.
