Gus Chase

I am new to this Griz board, but I want everyone to know that this kid (Gus) will do amazing things on and off the basketball court. Gus lived with me and my family for the better part of his two years here at Sheridan College and his work ethic is better than anyone I have ever been around. Gus will do anything to prove that he deserves to be at Montana and he has already proven that he can play with the best. Gus will not redhsirt and he WILL be one of the reasons that the Griz make it back to the dance this year.

Please don't worry about his size!!! He will get on the block and do his thing. He is as strong as an ox and just has a knack to get the ball in the hole. He will also defend his ass off to make his teamates better. You Griz fans (I am learning to be one) will come to love this young man that has blesed me and my family with his heart and his desire to be the best person he can be. GUS CHASE will be the newcomer of the year in the conference and I hope all of you Griz fans will give him a chance to prove himself in a game situation. Let's let the kid do what he was recruited to do and that is help the Griz win!!!

In the scrimmage I saw he played much bigger than 6-5. Seemed very much like Charles Barkley down there.

heard during a bulls-heat game tonight that ben wallace is actually only 6'7". if he and barkley can accomplish at their respective heights what they have in the nba, i'm not too worried about gus chase.
