These are the three guys I see as having big parts in this weeks game.
Gubner eating up blocks at the line of scrimmage freeing up lbs will be huge in stopping the cat run game. Any other DTs in conference that pose the problems he does?
Cotton is a great open field tackler and was everywhere last game. Like his coverage skills and tackling against runs to the boundry.
Ostmo looks like he is on a different level the last two weeks. If he can avg 4 or 5 yds per carry and help keep the offense in second and third and manageable thats big!

My only fear is biting on play fakes by the D and being in the correct position on deep shots. Alot of the cat passes are underthrown and can get a flag or put dbs in a awkward position.

your thoughts??

Honestly I see it more on the defensive ends and Outside linebackers. The cats love pulling guys and down blocking and washing the MLB. I think Gubner and Alford need to stand up to be effective and will. So will Welnel. The outside really needs to maintain contain and not get cleaned out by pullers like 2019.

The safeties and CBS and outside linebackers need to TACKLE Merlott when hes on the outside. That’s how the cats score. That’s how they win. It’s Tommy on the edges. That’s all that this game comes down to
