Let a new qb controversy, and transfer rumors begin. I wish it would have waited until after recruiting season. For the sake of this board,"Please, God, let Nick Montana be transferring, anywhere, but Montana." (no offense to Nick, or his family, I just don't want to see some of the posts here, if he comes here).

Confirmed on a Root Sports broadcast of Seattle Area basketball.

Proceed to instant drooling and pining. Less so this year than in years past, but some will drool.

Carry on.

Looks like he's headed to a junior college in Texas. Move along folks, there's nothing to see here.

Kind of surprised that Nick doesn't consider transferring to a FCS program for the 2012 season, like Joe Flacco did with Delaware a while back. Sacramento State would be the one spot out West that I'd think as one consideration, since NM is from the Southern California area, that is, if that matters. With Jeff Fleming a senior last year they only have three other QBs on their roster and of those three one is a true Freshman in Colin Burnett, the other two are redshirts: Garrett Safron a RSFR last year and Tommy Edwards a RSSo, if not mistaken. I'm under correction here but if this is an accurate assessment then NM could vie for starter status immediately with Sac St. At least I would think so. IMHO

Nick Montana will be transfering to a JC...

3rd thread on him already. I am glad, he is going JC, and not Montana. Because, I do not want to see the threads of speculation, and certain egrizzers being worse than they already are.

Not sure I care where he goes. But, I would love to hear this phrase: Montana scores another touchdown with a pass from Montana to Montana.
