GRIZ/Wisconsin post game

Fine, I tried to be classy and a good sport and keep it fun and light, but if yall wanna be like that we can do this.

We just beat the sh*t out of you. I said it from the beginning that it was a bad match-up but DG and Katz picked you and you believed the hype. You didn't want to hear it and called me all kinds of things, while I calmly and correctly pointed out that your notion of superior 'talent' was a joke. Your PG was trash, Taylor abused him like a school girl. If we played you guys in November our fans would be screaming at the AD to schedule a real team. You were outclassed at every position on the floor. So goodbye jerks, keep telling ourselves that you can compete with the big boys, and maybe one day it will be true. The truth can be a bitch sometimes.

And to the real fans I truly apologize for this outburst, you were fun to talk to.

Montana was outplayed in all aspects, and the officiating allowed tackle football essentially on the boards for Wisconsin with a flurry of dubious calls on UM. Which is ok IMO (The physical part) but not what Big Sky Conference ball is about period.

Wisconsin aint that good guys hate to pop your bubbles. We sucked it big today to make them look like greats they are not. Wisconsin is good but aint going to the final 8 I would not be astounded to see them not make it past the next round.

But it would be better to lose to the next champs so heres to wishing upon a star for wisconsin to get a miracle and win it all.

But the Big Sky Basketball conference is weak as hell and really today shows how soft our schedule was. Playing up more during regular season and even better being in a half decent conference would make first round at the NCAA less of a slaughter.

I like the fact that the refs let them play...I wish the Big Sky would do this as well. The teams just arent prepared for that physicality that is allowed in the tourney.

We knew our schedule was weak...after the top two, this conference sucked this year. I do agree that it was a bad showing for the Griz...disappointing to see them play that way when we know what they are capable of, but on to next year.

Griz fans, please ignore the Wisconsin troll. You guys have a very solid team and had a great season. Wisconsin fans get all pissy if you don't bow to their perceived greatness. They definitely have a good team, but they live and die by hitting outside shots. They choked twice against my below-average Hawkeyes this year and came up with all kinds of hilarious excuses. It could not have been their team's fault - it must have been bad refs, or bad Chinese food the night before. Today their shots were falling.

Dude you are wrong about your PG treating Cherry like a school girl. Your PG has to be bowing to your bigs, for shutting down the lane after your PG was seeing his ass blow by him. I can honestly say, Your PG is damn good, and it WAS NOT his defense that stopped Cherry. It was your bigs doing what bigs are supposed to do. By the way, this is the 1st time in a long time Cherry did not play like the best guard on the court. That includes games against UCLA, Oregon, Washington, and Oregon State. He can play with any team in the nation, and he had his 1st true "stinker" against the Badger team, not against your PG.

With that said, I love the Wisconsin fans I met today, and because of them, I will be pulling for the Badgers. Thank God, the majority of Badger fans are great, they do a great job covering for the not so good Badger fans (all fan bases have them).

For what it is worth, I do see Wisconsin getting to the sweet 16, and maybe the elite 8. This was the 1st defense that gave the GRIZ no open shots in the half court game. I have to give any team that can do that to any team. That defensive performance was something to watch live. :thumb: Good Luck Badgers.

Great BSC season and BSC tournament for the Griz men! HUGE kudos all the way around.

The NCAA tournament was UGLY and disapointing.
