EWU beat ISU
and
PSU is pounding the kitties...so in the first round (ok... technically the second round)

EWU (15-16)
vs.
Griz (23-6)

PSU (17-13)
vs.
Weber (23-5)

Planning to hit both games on tues, for the mere sake of not wanting to face Lillard again I'll be cheering for PSU

Portland could very easily beat WSU on the neutral floor. But I would still place my money on da' weebs.

I'll be cheering for UM, i want a shot to beat the griz on their home floor. There is nothing quite like losing the tourney title @ home. If it happens there will be a time when it seems every last bit of air has been sucked out of the building. Here's to Weber dancing on the Griz at center court Wednesday night slightly after 9:00 pm.

so, i was watching the easten game on Big Sky TV and basically the whole second half i didnt hear chivertons name called. Was he out? or jsut not effective? foul trouble? i was kinda off and on so i may have missed if and when they said what was going on..if that was the case.

I'm sure Tinkle will have them ready to play but besides Weber, EW makes me the most nervous of all the Big Sky teams. From what I've seen they may have the most athletic team in the conference but they tend to play as individuals a lot. They have good shooters and if they somehow figure out how to play better as a team, they could pull the upset. The Griz definitely can't look ahead to the championship game. They'll have their work cut out for them.

He got hurt in the first ISU game down in Pocatello. Before that, he was averaging around 16 points a game, I think.....maybe more. But since the back injury, he's been really limited. He's also been playing with a stress facture in his foot all season.....so, yeah. I don't expect he'll be a major scoring threat on Tuesday.

We do tend to play as individuals and not as a team. Chiverton however is the most selfish on our team. He's a great shooter when he's on, but when he's off, it results in a lot of bad, missed shots. Since he's been out or significantly reduced because of injury, it seems we've played better as a team and others (Parker Kelly, Jeffrey Forbes) have really stepped it up. We're 3-1 since Chiv went down, but they were all against ISU.
