GRIZ/Weber

Spot on Keena. They do not set good screens and are slow getting the ball inside when its there. If Stauds and Taylor are sick and injured why give them the minutes. 1-13 I believe shooting. A healthy player would be better in my opinion. My biggest complaint is the minutes he gives some players. I have heard him say more than once post game that he has messed up on leaving players in that are tired and then down the stretch they miss easy shots or turn the ball over. Give other players more minutes during the game so that the players you want in at the end of the game are a little fresher.

Well Montana fans your team played well for awile but when the refs made that call and fouled out Kyle Bullineger and that was such a bad call that it fired up the fans and team you were doomed. That arena was the loudest I have seen it in years.
Not that it significantly affected the outcome, but the refs more than compensated for the crappy McGillis call with a couple of make-up calls. Your arena looked 80% empty. THAT was the loudest it's been in years? :o

No doubt that UM is a very athletic team. On paper you guys are the best team in the conference. I can't believe Cherry doesn't start. He's gonna be the bomb the next 3 years. But him, AJ, and your giant bigs...it boggles my mind to see UM starting out 1-3.

When we make the Montanas road swing it will be very tough as usual but even worse this time playing on back-to-back nights.

Your 4 road games in a row after 2 home games...YIKES! Almost a month with no home game. The Big Sky schedule sure has sucked ever since UNC joined.

WSU shot crappy especially from the FT line was a joke. I think the diff in the game though was from downtown. WSU hit 7 of 26. We shoot that many every game but UM shooting 7% on 1-13 was too many misses and I wonder if thats why they didnt shoot more. But as big as ur bigs are I'd be taking every shot in the paint.

Its incredible how little we do with the talent that we have... not taking away from Weber at all... but we were the most talented team on the floor by far tonight (with exception of Lilliard) WSU just out played/out executed/out coached us.... Lilliard is INCREDIBLE.... him and Will Cherry will be battling for years to come and its going to be really fun to watch....Weber was tough down the stretch and deserved the W a lot more than we did    tough game to watch for Montana fans

Weber was VERY fortunate to come away with the win, Lillard was the only Wildcat who showed up to play tonight, that was the worst game i have seen Weber play this year, they are much better than that, if they dont get thier act together soon, then Weber will get thumped by UNC next Thursday, (who i think is the bsc favorite right now).

And I would have to dissagree, with you wildkyle, That might have been the most animated the crowd got for a while it was only because of that bad call, I would have to say that the loudest the Dee got in a while was 2 years ago when we beat Utah State in the Dee, when the crowd bordered on 10,000.

It just continues to baffle me, why the Dee continues to be only 1/3 full, Weber is winning, 2 big sky championships in 3 years, a good head coach and talented players. Yet the fans continue to not show up, I mean 5,000 fans for the semi final tourney game last year? what the F?

As was mentioned earlier when someone said the Grizzlies would catch a break with school not being in session at WSU. And the Grizzlies no longer have proved to be much a rival to motivate townspeople.

i'm not trying to start a mutiny but I think Tinks & Co. are pulling the same shit as the last couple years.... we can't keep being so predictable on offense!! the 3 man weave doesn't work!!!

Maybe one needs to be started. I'm tired of Tinkle's coaching inabilities. Seems like he's a decent recruiter, but if you can't coach the kids you recruit, what the hell good are you? Griz b-ball needs a serious shake up and it starts with a coaching change.

AMEN, sooner rather than later!!!!!

I used to say you can not tell much about losses on the road but...
Bobcats beat bengals and are now 3-1.
Idaho State loss and loss to Northern Colorado at home are going to make for a tough recovery.
The defense is there at times but when the shots do not drop it makes for super ugly.

Taylor took no shots vs Weber and Staudacher took only one due to the circumstances revealed earlier.

I don't know what wildkyle was smoking but the gym wasn't the loudest its been for years, or even for this year. Just this year the gym was louder against the Aggies and Utes. But he was right in that the call against Bull fired up the team and got the fans pissed off against the ref's and it carried thru the rest of the game.
