Keys to Success IMHO:

- Keeping the pod length a manageable length so that is is easily digestible for your audience
-Topic specific and not too many inside stories or jokes that only a few of the listeners care about or understand
-Quality audio
-Good Podcast demeanor ... be heard and don't talk over each other
-Always index the cast by saying today we are going to discuss ...

From my many hours of having to listen to business podcasts that are like pulling teeth...

Good podcasts tell the viewer what you are going to tell them, then tell them and then tell them what you told them. Take only enough time to do this process. Don't go on tangents. That's it.
