I've heard it. Not just the school, but the players as well. I've been around this for over 40 years and there is no question the scat fans have become much more spiteful and hateful the past few years. I don't understand it. I hope Montana boys do well, but also hope scat sh*t gets embarrassed. Only way to shut them up.

I'm not knocking it - not knowledgeable enough. But, why move to the FBS instead of staying with the FCS playoff system?

Seems to me like the move to FBS is a downgrade - you become a nobody. Again, I'm not knowledgeable enough but I see no advantages.

That's not it. All of our regional rivals left. We're sick of playing meaningless games for 3 months against Elon, Stonybrook and Albany. This will reunite us with App St., Marshall, Georgia Southern, Old Dominion, etc. While we won't have playoffs, we'll finally have games during the regular season that excite our fans, something that hasn't been the case for 15 years.

If you're talking about the school of dance comments while forgetting about the "shit pond" comments???

There are people on both sides that take things too far. I give props for the forestry, pharmacy, law school, and PT program at your school. I'm out of the loop but UM was the school to go to if you wanted to major in music. I know entertainment law/business used to be a strong suit of your school. And you have a river. I just recently told someone that if they've never been to a Cat/griz game that going over the walking bridge to the game is pretty cool. Now, can we work something out where you cheer for us for the 2nd quarter maybe?

Fun fact: NDSU has never made the championship when they didn't have home field throughout the playoffs.

It's hard to win on the road in the FCS playoffs. It's not just a Griz thing.

I’ll tell you what. As I’m sitting here sipping on my 2nd bottle of vino; dudes like Cook and Lewis are everything that is right about football in Montana. Just two great guys who will no doubt go on to bigger and better things.
