I don't think its NAU's style, they can't have Cone getting fouls or wasting energy but he's right. Our press break is horrible. Even if we do break it, we don't ever capitalize because we are one of the worst fast break teams in the country.

First full game I have watched this season. First game since early in the season that I watched more than 15 minutes. I thought the Griz looked terrific. Very good decisions. Few dumb decisions. Moved the ball around. Mostly nice D. Defended the big guys in the post without a bunch of fouls.

I was very impressed. The Griz are/were much better than what I had assumed.

I liked the adjustment in the second half to have Bannon move the ball around more. The others guys were good.

No big letdowns. Really no letdowns.

Travis, as in many past years, has this team coming to together and clicking. I liked all of the players and how they played. Travis is 10 times better than the LG coach, in my view.

Like I said, impressive. I am hopeful.

This idiot watched the game with a former high school coach whose 30-year coaching career included two state championships. And he stated that the way Montana handled the press was abysmal. He said that a team who was adept at breaking the full court press should be able to create plenty of 2 on 1 fast break opportunities for easy buckets. We did none of that tonight., and turned the ball over repeatedly against the press. And it has happened previously in games this season, and even caused us to lose a game against Weber. But then, what would this old retired head coach know, when our resident old gomer know-it-all schools us every day? The Lady Griz staff is just salivating to pick his brain on minority player retention.

I think you and hoops are equally as dumb, you're just both on the complete opposite side of the spectrum from each other. You both take it way too far as he makes it sound much rosier then it actually is, and you make it sound much more dire then it actually is. Truth is, both of you are wrong about the current state of the athletic department and you both need to come closer to the middle like all the rationale posters on here!
