Griz vs Idaho Game Thread

This officiating is a little one sided in the 2nd half.

both teams are getting hit by refs....just a bad game...bad crowd...sloppy..the Griz can win, but they need to show a little life..not out of control aggression and they have no post play, whatsoever..on either side.....Cherry is trying to do it all himself, and might be able to do it...

What was BAD about us?

Griz are a long way from being a decent team.

Idaho is nothing to speak of, either...wow....

Holy shit you two are full of nothing but negativity lately..... You do realize this is still pretty early in the season right? Even top 20 teams have things to work on this early in the season....

Idaho is nothing to speak of either? Yeah, they only played Long Beach State (you know ,the same Long Beach State that beat #9 Pitt in Pitt?) very close in California back on the 12th... Idaho was 18-14 last year and got an invite to the CIT... So while they weren't great, they were still a quality team that did well enough to get an invite to a postseason tournament..

I saw a lot of positives out there tonight. Sure there were some negatives too.. It's early in the season. The Griz lost their main inside threat to graduation, so they are still figuring some things out offensively. They are also playing with one of their best players sidelined by an injury. They just beat a quality Idaho team and you guys talk like the Griz will be lucky to finish .500 this year... :roll:

Sorry, Idaho is not very good..simple as that..the Griz are better, and I hope your optimism is warranted. I would be thrilled to see the Griz compete with Weber for the Conf. title and they might, though saw some clips tonight of E.Wash and Sac St...looks like they are going to be UM's tough games...Idaho played Long Beach, true..and they lost in garbage time. Long Beach matched up well Pittsburgh....I hope UM plays to the level of their competiton because that is what they seem to have done so far. This team, if it gels under fire, will be better without Selvig...he has not impressed many in three years...still, he might have countered Barone tonight...Cherry and JAmar cannot do it all..even though they try....
