Griz vs Boise State

That will go down as a quality win come year's end. Boise State will be in the top 3 WAC. I like the balance scoring. Qvale is capable of having those games more often. I said earlier this year, he can be a 10 pt, 8 rebound, 2 blocks per game guy.

Selvig is a huge key to our offense and defense. I love how he can find guys offensively and if needed score.

In AJ and Young we have 2 dynamic scorers. Stauds and McGillis can be double digit guys too.

We need to work on getting the ball inside, handling pressure, and ft shooting.

Now here is to hoping for no let down tomorrow.

That would be an epic letdown considering LMU was 3-28 last year.

In hindsight this was a perfect game for us to play. Last year we struggled against quicker paced teams. We will not see any BSC teams play that fast. We also rebounded well. The season is very young, but if we can play that way every night out and stay healthy, we are a 13-3 or 12-4 conference team, with what it takes to make the big Dance. We are injury away from being a .500 team though. Speaking of injuries, I hope Taylor is back soon.

Who cares about last season. This years LMU is a far better team than a 3 - 28 team. Played BSU even yesterday and should have beat them. Griz will have a very tough test and any let down could lose the game.

Cherry is doing a good job handling the pressure. Hope he makes the fts
IMHO Tinkle waited way to long to get Cherry in the game once Boise went to the trap. I hope he (Tinkle) is quicker to get Cherry in next time they face a trap. That big lead disappeared quickly. Otherwise, a great win. The Griz have a lot of fire power and did much better tonight getting offensive production out of their bigs (especially Qvale). Stauds lit it up for a while, but struggles defensively and on offense against quicker players. I think Wayne needs to spell him more often. Hopefully Taylor's return will lead to this.

Loyola Marymount fan here.

We are looking forward to a great game tomorrow. Yes, we were 3-28 last year, but we are a much different team this year. That record was contributed to a our head coach leaving after the 3rd game, numerous injuries, our 2 best players redshirting after sitting out, and playing mostly freshman. With one of the best recruiting classes in the WCC and our two major conference transfers being eligible we are a much tougher team.

You are all welcome on our board www.lmulions.us to tell us a bit more about your team before the game tomorrow. I'll try to post a summary of our players before the game to give you all an idea of who we are before the big match up.

Go Lions

I already went to the LMU website, I see they have no SR's and size wise do not have a lot of height, very much like the GRIZ as for that. I look forward to the game tomorrow.
