If you watch the presser, the QB mentioned that even with all the empty seats, it was louder than playing at Penn State. "Not even close." That third element last night along with the cold and loud, "blizzard conditions", would be something I'd be OK without on Friday night.i think it really kept them from doing much of what they’d planned for if I’m reading the presser commentary correctly.

i think without the blizzard conditions Delaware only scores 7. The inability to cut, recover, and have stable footing caused at least 3-4 of their long, broken plays.

And we score at least 14 more.

The backups making a routine defensive play and then jawing and gesticulating in the face of the guys they are beating by 30? poop football. Have a little grace and act like you have been there. And yes. lotta drops and missed open guys. Lot to clean up.

If there was a dislike button I would smash that on you

Im crushed. Douchebag here disliked my post. However will I carry on?

Look. There is celebrating and then there’s taunting. You guys who think it’s cool for our players to taunt (and hurt the rest of the team by drawing a 15-yard penalty) are the kind of “neuveau rich” fans that would be welcome in Bozeman. Being older, I remember the dominant Griz teams where that sort of thing was rare and was not celebrated. But then decency and decorum is pretty much ancient history I guess. From where I sat it was disappointing coming from backups in the fourth, up 30.

Here’s the thing. Football (and the kids playing it) have changed sine 1975. Hell, even since 1995. There is SO much trash talking, finger pointing, (and ok, “taunting”) that honestly it could be called on literally every single play. Some of the stuff our guys were doing last night NEVER gets called, but the ONE ref had a bone to pick apparently (maybe she was bullied in HS? Who knows)….and called them ALL, I believe…Oh well, no harm no foul. I guess we’ll find out when/if we play a close game if these guys have the ability to rein it in when it cannot be afforded.

I suspect I’ve been watching since you were in diapers and have forgotten more games than you have ever seen. But go ahead and lecture me douchebag.

I get that that the game has changed. And I surely get that refs are highly variable in what they call. But after the first call players kinda have to read the room. The last 30 yards in penalties were just unnecessary. But you are right-No harm was done. Hopefully a small learning opportunity for all. And to be honest when Clifton stiff arms a tackler to the ground or Gubner decleats a QB, I’m all for a little trash talking. They earned it.

You keep using that word, and yet I'm not the one complaining about a blowout win that some of the Griz players were celebrating and talking shit to a team that was talking right back at em.

Agreed…and I’d add when Jaxson breaks up a TD pass in the end zone… :D :D :D

The last 30 yards of penalties didn't matter at all, so I don't know why people are so mad about them.

Clif goes after #1 who chirped at him after he knocked him down on the pass to let him know his team just got scored on and their season was over.

Jace does a celebration literally every other DB in college football does after a similar play every week without a flag.

Bobby doesn't care about either of those penalties, and neither should you.

He cared about the one on Jax. He damn near came UNGLUED at the official over that call.

I’ll take things white people like for 500, Alex. Fullback 1 yard plunges, handing the ball to the ref after a TD and “acting like you’ve been there before”. 🙃

i'll take "i'd like to slam your head into a brick wall" for nothing.

i misread your post, i only saw the last couple lines. i thought it was a 'do it the old fashioned way' statement. sorry, i agree with what you wrote.

Right, he cares when they’re unwarranted (which that one was) and will let the refs know. Despite what people apparently want here, Bobby isn’t gonna reprimand and bench his players because they’re having fun in a blowout playoff game.

He just wants to maintain that fine line between confidence and arrogance ...!
