GRIZ v. ewoo

Lot's of players stepping up in this game, it was god to see. Solid play from a lot of players, but kind of a sloppy game - I'll bet we never see Cherry miss 2 layups in 1 game again. Question for anyone near the Griz bench - Why was Tinkly so upset with Ward all night? It seemed like he had a pretty decent game - needs to make quicker decisions with the ball to avoid the double team trap, but Tinkle was all over him. I assume it was something he was not doing on defense?

Tinkle did a good job to not let the team get too complacent when they had the big lead and let EWU back into the game. Late in the game with some uninspired sloppy play going on, Tinkle called timeout and you could clearly hear him yelling "Let's get it together out there". It was awesome, and good to see the Griz focusing on keeping their foot on the opponents throat.

You saw god at the game? Surprsing there weren't more people there. Jus kidding you Grizbeer.

He is a regular at the games when He is in town - This is God's Country you know.

I sit in 104 behind the bench and from what i surmised is that ward was missing his defensive assignment and letting their 3 point shooter alone on the arc... just what i saw.

thanks, figured it had something to do with D, wasn't sure though. I imagine defending his man at the arc is a pretty tough assignment for a guy like Ward, makes sense.
