Man, I wasn’t sure early on if rebuilding a hoops team with transfers was going to work. I must say, the dudes Travis has brought in have really impressed me and upped the men’s team play.

I think Kai Johnson has been a HUGE addition. He just has a knack for finding ways to score. Pridgen has been dominant and a very welcome addition. Malik Moore can flat out shoot and play. Austin Patterson can shoot and plays pretty damn tough defense.

Hats off to Travis and his coaches for some impressive recruiting and coaching.

Yeah, definitely a great job with the portal this year, not just finding the talent and different skillsets but more importantly finding guys that fit in and mesh well with the rest of the team. A good example of being very talented but not necessarily the right fit is Tomley for Weber State. He was super impressive for ISU last year but at least so far this season, he has been relatively underwhelming for WSU.

I just wish there was a possibility of more seasons with this group as they aren't only fun to watch play but all seem like great people and are easy to support and cheer for just in that regard. I think Moore is the only one of those that you listed that will have eligibility after this season.

Also, a shout out to the other transfers this year that were not mentioned (Bradtke, Jedkins, Foy, Dargan). I feel like though the opportunities have been less, they have all contributed. And above all they have stayed positive, engaged, and helped with team morale.
