Griz Tix Not Working

I got the GSA promo code at 8:30 this morning and logged into the Griz Tix to be informed that no tickets were left available. WTF?

Got on my laptop at 829, promo code came thru at 831, ordered three tickets and got confirmation at 834. Got lucky and beat the rush I guess.

I was online within 30 seconds of receiving the promo code and there were no tickets available. I refreshed.a number of times and got a spinning screen that my request was being processed and it could take up to 3 minutes. I was warned not to use the back or refresh buttons. It spun for 30 minutes. I never got tickets. Gotta love Griz Tix….it’s always FUBARed.

I have two tickets in section 115 Row 1 seats 19-20

So basically right under the goal posts. First row.

I bought them for $300 a piece beginning of playoffs. I’d be looking for just that price back.

DM me if interested.

Finally got 2 tickets at 9:01AM after trying 30-40 times starting at 8:31AM. Kept getting "no tickets available" messages but persistence paid off. Probably due to super heavy activity on the site.

Odds are high tickets will be available at a reasonable price in the secondary market. Capacity is 20,500. Five year average attendance for this game is 18,345. Only once in that 5 year span did they exceed 19,000- and just barely. NDSU vs MSU fell short of 19,000.

No one travels in FCS like Montana. It will be packed. Dallas is easy to get to for most other parts of the country.

It would be great is Las Vegas could get the FCS title game at some point. Cheaper to travel to than Dallas, great January weather, UNLV's Sam Boyd Stadium hold like 38k, which is 18k more than Frisco. Not to mention all the other entertainment available. Make a lot of sense.

And it's cheap and easy to get to from almost everywhere

Makes way more sense than Frisco, and infinitely more sense than Chattanooga. I believe the city has to bid on it though, which I'm guessing is the problem with vegas. It's be a drop in the bucket for them. I was there for the Pac-12 Title game which was sold out, but they also had an Amazon Web Service conference going on at the same time with 80,000 people. It just might not be a significant enough of an event for them to really care. Who knows.

Vegas should have every championship event every year, including the Super Bowl. No better city to hold an event

If anyone was able to grab some extra through GrizTix please let me know. Longtime legacy Griz fan who lives in the DFW area, hoping for face value.

It truly is the perfect "two-night city". I wake up on that third day wanting to teleport anywhere. Part of that is that I usually drive, and it's a tale of two roads there and back. However, when I fly there out of LAX or SNA for a weekend, it is always interesting to see the obvious, well, "commuting professionals" and the difference in their costumes between the outbound and return flights.
