I think you guys are wrong on Edwards and if Gonzaga were to drop its offer (which it isn't), Montana would be all over him. They wouldn't have offered him if they weren't interested. You can't just look at production, you have to look at the skill set, upside, and his ability to fill a need.
Edwards isn't a productively dominant player, but he has a ton of upside, good feet, and touch. Fact is though, he is a valuable prospect not only because he has 7'+ height, but because of his bulk. There are very few 7 footers out there that have his body type and style as a traditional center. This will make him valuable right away as a defensive and rebounding presence and it's much easier to develop a player that might be over-sized than it is a bean pole. I think he will be an important role player for the bulldogs with the potential to be a solid starter for them in a couple of years.
