GRIZ Scrimmage-Saturday, 10 a.m. 3/4 at the Fieldhouse

Mentioned in the Missoulian a couple of days ago and confirmed today by the UM Sports Info people. I think this is to keep the guys in game mode given the big layoff before the Big Sky Tournament. Admission is free. :thumb:

I agree, but Mung you need two more people to go with you. Maybe get a fourth so then when the team gets down their they will be extra ready for the hate they will recieve

Of course, the Grizzlies will deserve all the abuse they get from fans and the physical assaults they take from opponents due to their style of play. At least if you believe every jealous fan from every other "program" in this conference, that is.

I was being only partially facetious when I wrote that, actually.

I remember listening to radio braodcasts from NAU within the past few years and some of their students' chants and ravings came through crystal clear.

They were saying things like, "Hey, Slider, you're not from Montana you fucking N------, you're from the hood and that's where you're going when you flunk out of school!"

(notice I learned my lesson on naughty words)

It was the only time I ever heard Mick Holien turn around and yell, "SHUTUUUUUP!" to the fans. And it was much louder than his loudest 'down the pickle barrel'. That's part of the reason why I think Holien is a righteous game-caller.
