Montana has reportedly offerd a scholarship to 2015 SF Bay area senior 5'-11" point guard Paris Austin of Oakland's Bishop O'Dowd H.S, according to a new post on Verbal Commits http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/paris-austin" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Austin is ranked 2.7 stars by Verbal Commits, 3 stars by Scout and 3 stars by ESPN and has also received interest (or offers) from Boise State, Pacific, Florida State, Tulsa, Loyola Marymount, San Jose State and Utah State.

Looks like a gem for us, if we can land him. He looks like a 3 star, verging on 4 star to me. He is terrific at creating space on the dribble or squaring up for a perimeter shot. Scoring looks easy for him. There is potential there for a play making creator as well. I wonder how well he gets teammates involved?

Did not see any footage displaying how athletic he is as for rebounding (not a big deal for a PG) and Defense (huge for a PG). If he proves to be solid in those areas, this kid should increase is stock as a SR.

Citay, how about a 1st hand scouting report of him?
