TOUCHDOWN

Well Sheridan College run into a bit of tough luck in Torrington, WY on Friday Night as they lost to Eastern Wyoming 85-83. From what the article in the loacl paper quoting head Coach Joel Davidson, Eastern shot 72% from the field in the first half due to poor defense by the Generals. They done much better in the second half but couldn't hold off Eastern. Gus ended the game with 22 points and 16 rebounds so at least he had a much better game than he did on Thursday. The Generals are now 23-4 on the season.

This kid is a 12-18 point guy every night, and it has been long noted that his game is not scoring, but is a great leader and point guard. He also had a 3.8 gpa last I checked at a non-public-school. Minneapolis North (pronounced "Norf" for some reason ) has been the #1 team in the state in boys basketball over the last 20 years. That is all they are good at. They don't even have a hockey team. Not sure about this year's team or anything, but any win over Norf is a good win regardless of the year.
