Griz Ranked #2 in Herder's Latest Poll

"I put Montana No. 2. I’ve already said my spiel multiple times on different platforms about Montana dropping in the rankings in September due to its play, and how the Grizzlies have risen back up with their October play. Now? The Griz have a sound argument to be No. 2, helped by Idaho knocking off No. 2 Montana State a couple of weeks after the Griz beat Idaho in the same building. Montana is now 7-1 overall, 6-1 vs. the FCS, has two ranked wins on the road over UC Davis and Idaho, and just looks like a different ball club than the one we questioned in September. Montana’s 51st strength of schedule isn’t great, same with its loss to NAU. But its four-game winning streak and the Idaho win carry a lot of weight to ascend to No. 2."

Well now I feel like he’s overrating us. Although, FCS isn’t what it once was. Not a lot of teams are the caliber of the teams at the top of the big sky and the MVFC

I see the Griz as a #5 team this upcoming week.

I think the Griz are playing at a pretty high level right now and look solid. The addition of Ah Yat could add another nice wrinkle to the offense for sure. I don’t think we are tje -#2 team in the country quite yet, I’d say more around 5-6. But do I think we could literally beat any of the top 3-4 teams on any given day, yes I do.

Agree. Looking better all the time. If we continue the current trajectory, I see us as a top five team. I don't think we're there yet. Victories over suck and psu and continued improvement would make the brawl a battle for a top four seed. A lot of football to play before any of that can happen. Not one easy game left.

Beat Sac State and #2 is a legitimate ranking. A little too early for my liking, but the polls mean nothing until the end of the regular season.

Felt a bit overrated to me too at first, but might be right even if only for this one week.

SDSU is number one. The best BSC team should be two.

The Griz are in first place in the BSC this week.

Bubz have two losses, and The Griz have the head-to-head against Idahoe

Pretty much how I see it. And all meaningless if they lose to Suck St. So, time to put a bullet in that streak.
