5 Griz games to be shown on Fullcourt. That coupled with Altitude should give the GRIZ national exposure. I am going to purchase the fullcourt games.

With that said, out of curiosity I glanced through BSC conference games on ESPN or Fullcourt, verses WAC games on either. Oh my GOD, go compare yourself. Tell me our basketball program would not be much better off in the WAC than the sorry BSC. An Average WAC team will be on either 8 times this year. Meanwhile an average BSC program will be on around 3 times this year. How much extra exposure and $ would this be for our school to add to football revenue?

As for recruiting, Tinks already competes very well for midmajor program players. Makes me wonder how much better talent Tinks could reel in being in the WAC!

Will there ever be a day that our fans and athletic administration considers more things than just football? It saddens me to know how much better off our basketball program would be in the WAC, and how much the BSC weakens our basketball program. Being move to the WAC is not likely to happen. I hope and pray BSC programs step it up sooner than later.

I don't want to get my hopes up but i almost have faith in O'Day being the AD to really advance the hoops program. he was the one who put the students back courtside. he was the one that pushed for that. it's not moving the football program to the FBS but it is showing he cares about the hoops program. He was here around the time when it was great so he knows how good things can be with a little bit of change.

I 100% agree with you about O'Day and our basketball program. I have known Jim several years. I have talked basketball with him on several occasions. He is very much dedicated to taking basketball to higher levels, and works very well with the coaching staff. He and Tinks are on the same page 100%, and work well together.

Unlike our football schedule, I love our basketball schedule this season. It will certainly prep us for conference play. Nice to see the efforts being made by the staff and administration. Whatever they are doing is more than any other BSC program is doing.

As for the football schedule, If the decisions were more of O'days I have no doubts that schedule would be more challenging too. Maybe he takes extra pride in having a more cooperative fan base and coaching staff to deal with when it comes to basketball. Regardless of conference ties, he definitely see this much room for improvement in mens basketball. I hope and pray the students do not let the university down, and the CSU game is the 1st of many games at the NEW ZOO!!!! :thumb:

Did I miss something? Are the students there the whole year or is it just for one game. My thought was that it was an experiment and we would have to wait and hear what happens after that because all of the high muckety muck supporters sit in those seats normally. Personally, those are the fans that I think should go watch the game up in the SKYBOX because all they do is sit and eat popcorn. There is a ton of potential in Missoula for Basketball, but they just need the right plan.

Out of curiosity, what is being said and/or done on campus to get the students involved for this game? I know the likes of "ATHOME" and a few others will do what they can. Are there some ringleaders helping generate the interest or planning some things to create a basketball atmosphere? Does the student body know there is some expectations of them to step up for this game? Students please fill the seats and be as loud as you can be. It is time for the ZOO to return!!!!! :thumb: O'day is giving the students an opportunity, I have no doubts O'day and the program will be siding with student body if they prove this can and will work. As a lifelong GRIZ fan I am wanting this to happen. God knows there are plenty of rowdy students on the campus. How to get them to the game though?

Please get it done students :thumb:

Save your money... the espn fullcourt broadcasts are feeds from the crappy KPAX b-casts (cat-griz, griz-cat), and the Sunday afternoon Altitude b-casts. Altitude is readily available in MT (cable59/Dish410).

I do not have much choice living in Denver. I cannot get the KPAX feeds any longer. ESPN full court is a much better option to me than BigSkyTV. With all the complaints with them, I have next to no faith in them.
