Perhaps the old Griz Mojo returned at the end of this game. The Griz of yore seemed to always find a way to win. Turnovers, kick returns etc. This win could bond this group of Grizzlies and convince them they are another team of destiny like so many of their predecessors. I'm not talking National Championship, but a winning season, beating the Cats and a playoff bid. Emotions were mixed as I watched coach Stitt continue to scan his play chart looking for the game changer. Did he deserve to lose? Would that hasten his departure? Hmmmn. Did the players deserve to win despite bungling red zone opportunities? Hmmmn. For whatever reason “Fate moved it's huge hand” in the final play of overtime, and answered that question.Lotsa work necessary this week because we can't count on Mojo. Should Simis sit next week for all his miscues or should we support his development? Was the play calling putrid, or was it the lack of execution that turned a potential Griz blowout into another nail biter?
Some REALLY stupid questions in here. Did he deserve to lose? Really? And it doesn't matter WHAT happens this year, it ain't "hastening his departure". The players deserved to win because they never quit. They played right up to the last play. There was no "fate" or "mojo"....just like there was no fate that CP's kicker made a 49 yarder against us in the rain in Missoula.
This team is slowly learning what it takes to win. You should try and enjoy it...it's a lot more fun than obsessing over what DIDN'T go right.
AZ you do know that's Stevie Dill you're talking to, right?![]()

Bjorn I've tolerated your inaccurate references to me being a "reincarnated" version of someone who you finally identified as Stevie Dill. I am not he.
I think Hardy would have been a more accurate choice
