Griz loss celebrated in Montana House

I found it a little out of the ordinary that Bozeman House of Representative, Brady Wiseman, proudly rose in the Montana House of Represenatives today to proudly announce the Univeristy of Washington had defeated the Griz in Boise.

One would think that the Griz were representing not only the Big Sky Conference but the State of Montana as well. How proper is it for an official of the State of Montana to celebrate the Griz loss? Certainly the Griz were defeated by a better team, but what a loser Wiseman proved himself to be by his actions.

Is he a U-Dub alum? If so, it actually sounds pretty harmless -- just like any college basketball smack among colleagues (they aren't required to cheer for the sports teams of the state's U's -- they should only be concerned about funding the academics). Being a politician, though, it might not be the brightest move for him to make.

Okay, I take it back -- I have no idea why he did that. It doesn't look like he is a U-Dub guy. From his candidacy website:

After attending Russell High in Great Falls for a year, Brady went to Germany where his father was stationed in the Air Force. Brady graduated from Stuttgart American High School.

Brady attended both MSU and UM. He has degrees from UM in Computer Science and in German Literature. He roots for the Bobcats, favoring the Grizzlies only when they are playing for a national championship.

I myself Root for Texas A&M, TCU, AND Texas Tech, along with Sam Houston before I cheer for the Texas Longhorns. I do cheer for the University of Texas when they play Non Texas teams.

He is a UM graduate.

I also haven't seen any news article saying that it actually happened, so it's always possible that I got pulled into a non-issue discussion.

WHO CARES?

You people seem to find any excuse possible to get your noses out of joint!

I think you all have way too much time on your hands!
