pretty amazing. maybe they will beef up and we can put them into the OL rotation....all joking aside it will be fun to watch to see which one rises to the top.

4 kickers on the roster....

1 true freshman offensive lineman on the roster.

Let that sink in.

No worries, SG. With a kicker who can allegedly kick 68 yard FG’s, as long as Flowers can return kickoffs to the 35-40 yard line every time, we’ll get 3 points out of every “drive”.

The current roster shows 12 OLmen, none of which are seniors and it does not include Walker. It sinks in easily if one recalls BH's comments during the recruiting cycle stating that we did not need to get younger, suggesting that Walker and maybe another is what he felt we needed while the youngsters develop.

I could buy what you are selling if they didn't offer any linemen last cycle. The truth is they did offer many...and landed zero.

And...your thoughts on developing the youngsters? When is that going to start?

Didn’t it start as soon as they got here? Did you expect any of them to start ahead of Dylan Cook, Moses Mallory, or Conlan Beaver? How many Fr have we had start on the O line for the Griz in the last 20-30 years? Of our 12 O lineman, 2 will now be 2 and 3 year starters, 2 others will be upper class men, and the other 8 are So and Fr. You talk about Germer not developing lineman but you expect these guys to start as Fr. Those 2 points don’t match up. Development takes 2-3 years most times. It’s relatively rare to have a 3 year starter on the line and extremely rare to have a 4 year starter. Beaver started out of necessity at first and developed by trial under fire. Cook was an NFL talent that, might I remind you, never played a down of O line before Germer.

You obviously have no idea what the Griz O-line used to be...DOLA was real. It is now a distant memory. Count Germer's 1st Team All BSC and All Americans...it won't take you very long.

I love how when Kem is presented a logical question that doesn’t fit his paradigm he just ignores it.

But you don't know what was offered do you... with the schollie shortage due to the covid year, I'm betting most were partials or PWOs and were not good enough to land the prospects. You can't offer what you don't have. Again, we are young at OL and BH made it clear this last recruiting cycle that we did not need to get younger. I believe him, if you don't fine, but this just in, BH trumps your credibility.

Or just doesn't feel the need to inject comment on every post like a poster starting with AZ.

But somehow you manage to inject a comment on every one of MY posts…how is that?

Y’all think I, personallly, have some kind of vendetta against Hauck and Germer…yet there’s a number of other posters here who feel similarly, and you let their comments pass without so much as an acknowledgement…I don’t know whether I should be honored or whether it’s starting to feel creepy. :?

No question - I am not a D1 Football coach, and never will be. Just a fan. They may not need to get younger, but they do without question, need to get better...
