A very informative preseason article with attached preseason prospectus was posted this afternoon at GoGriz. You'll get a pretty good idea of who coach Tinkle is expecting to produce early. Good stuff.

I am disappointed Bradshaw cannot play until after Christmas. I have a feeling there will be some growing pains in out of conference play. I do believe the GRIZ will contend for the BSC title again though.

Great preview, thanks for posting!!

I think the PG spot will be interesting... obviously DeShields is the favorite, but I think Dunn will push him early and often for PT. It will be an interesting year!

Yeah, what's up with that? I read that as well under the Heading of Two Guard: 'Bradshaw will also be in the mix when he becomes eligible around Christmas.' I thought a student-athlete was required to only sit out one (1) year upon transfer from his/her former institution of 'higher' learning to another. I guess the NCAA hasn't ruled having a day off for Christmas as being against their rules and dictations, as of yet.

This might be, or must be some kind of a blanket collateral punishment mended out by the chrome domes in Indianapolis to cover all individuals in this here 'Land of the Free' between the ages of 12 and 64 on account of Dez Bryant's having lunch with Deion Sanders back in 2009 that resulted in Bryant being suspended for the rest of that football season. Perfectly logical, of course. One must not have lunch when on an athletic scholarship; it might be deemed unfair to all other students and whatever if and whenever you should survive long enough to attain parchment status. Then you're duly certified a 'nut' case. Don't want to mess that up.

It is one year based on when the transfer of school took place. He transferred after the fall semester was finished. Therefore his 1 year ends then.

Oh, so it's one calendrical year instead of one athletic year; I see. Which makes sense since Bradshaw was a redshirt while he was at Utah State that year and didn't play in any 'official' games for them to begin with. But in one exhibition game, I surmise.

Have to thank the NCAA in caring for the academic side of the ledger I guess. Since Bradshaw was cited as wishing to continue his studies at the university for the fall season and transferring at the end of the semester < http://www.rantsports.com/ncaa-basketball/2012/10/31/utah-state-player-leaves-team-after-exhibition-game/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; No reason in punishing anyone in pursuing an academic stance over and above the cash cow athletic programs that the NCAA oversees...dictates...rules over with an iron thumb, etc., etc., etc.
