Creighton is better, better shooting from 3 and the line, and has depth. I think they will beat Gonzaga on Saturday at Creighton.
I liked how the Griz played and showed. Played well, most of the time. No backing down. Looked like they more than belonged. More athletic than Creighton.
Creighton could shoot the 3, and shot great. Not just wide open 3's. Defended us well. I thought C was good inside and out. Disciplined. Could defend.
When the Griz started coming on later in the first half, and took lead, I thought Griz looked confident and C was starting to worry and make mistakes. Then, C answered big in the last several minutes of the half. And C came out tough early in second half and pushed their 9 point lead up. Every time UM surged, C more than answered.
Big game by Oguine and Pridget. The backup bigs looked credible. Rorie played fine, but couldn't get going scoring and with outside shot. Morehead couldn't get his shot going. Wasn't as good as he usually is. Manuel also could'nt get it going. Dorsey was okay but not big. He will be a better player with Akoh on the court.
Thought Griz got too impatient on offense in both halves. Took shots too early, with no one on the boards. Not bad or covered shots, but too early.
Got killed on the boards, judging by stats. Need to shot free throws better. Shot pretty well. Drove a number of times. Didn't look weak on D.
