Made a breakthrough on the sound quality issues from the first few weeks. This one is much improved. We recap the game, pick the week ahead, scout UNA, and have a damn good time while doing it.

Half assed homework done on North Alabama...

Just calling it how I heard it...

Hahaha. We should have interviewed you for that segment. If we ever play North Alabama again we'll be better, just hard to find good coverage that means something in the context of the schedule they played last year and what limited information we can pull from one game this season. We mentioned the wins last year including the big win over Southern Utah, and the loss to NDSU. We talked a bit about the win over Western Illinois as a somewhat recent opponent. We also threw out the comparison to a team that upset the Griz in Bobby's first tenure, a pre-transition NDSU.

Tell us more, we'll tweet you out.

Good listen fellas. Audio was a huge improvement! Got another idea asides from making an ad to sell yourselves.....having a guest egrizzer once in a while when someone can’t make it. That would be pretty fun and interesting in my opinion.

Just off the top of my head, and I'm not totally criticizing, believe me, I understand. Most of the transfers on our team are from JUCO, yes we do ave a couple of FBS transfers but I dont put the JUCO guys in the same kind of transfer boat. We ain't Jacksonville State. Also out D2 schedule last year was a necessity deal, all of our home games was D2. All of our away games was FCS. We lost big to Campbell, after we arrived off of the flight 30 mins before kickoff, but they did beat us.

The Incarnate Word game was canceled because of an Iowa State game being canceled and they took advantage of an FBS payday.

Yes Florence has about 40k people but the Shoals metro witch Florence is the major city in is around 120k. And yes, we have more Hotels, restaurants and banks than you can shake a stick at.

As far as Big Games or programs, in context of history, we have played Youngstown State, Missouri State, Jacksonville State, ETSU, Chattanooga, Samford, SUU, NDSU. Maybe I'm leaving a few off, we won a few and lost a few, but the point is, we will not be intimidated by playing Montana, but we will respect Montana because of the tradition that yall have.

Please message me if any questions about North Alabama.

They meant no offense at all. When it came to hotels, they were talking about Florence, MT. You probably don’t realize it but about 30 minutes from Missoula is a small town named Florence, Montana. That was the Florence they were referring to when they were asking about hotels and other amenities. We have a lot of respect for NAU and those in the know already feel it was be a good battle. Wa-Griz Stadium under the lights with a rowdy crowd is goikg to be a bit of an eye opener for some of the kids from NAU I think though.

No, this is a pedestrian podcast. Why change now?

I wasnt offended, I was just pointing it out... UNA, traditionally loves going to great places like this... win or lose, it's a great experience for the fans and players alike. And I know we are the "new kids" in town, but NAU is in Arizona, we are UNA...lol

I believe I speak for everyone when I say “we need more pod-dog”. Otherwise, Griz Fan Podcast is always a great listen.

Grzz - that means we’d have to give a random egrizzer your home address

Nick Ostmo does not show up on the Go Griz game participation report.

Yeah, I looked that up after Brint mentioned it and was glad to see that. It would have been a waste of one of his four games to red shirt in my opinion. Or four games to determine if he will redshirt or keep playing, rather.

I have been thinking more about this. It would be cool if we could do a voicemail from Griz fans segment responding to random or outrageous takes from fans.

I can only offer this one cautionary tale. The last time I invited an eGrizzer to my house I woke up the next morning in my alley wearing only a tshirt and my left shoe. I stumbled into my house to find the liquor cabinet had been emptied and a note that read:

Had a Great time!

E.G.

Geez! Gosh! Fine, I’ll do it. Just stop hinting and ask already...
