Great pod last night, we spend quite a bit of time sharing our thoughts and observations from the EWU win. We then move into a long discussion about what the Griz need to do & what fans should expect for this upcoming JMU game. Look for Griz Fan Podcast or Montana Mint Sports where you get your podcasts - also twitter link here for Apple/Spotify/Web direct links.

Brint. Thanks for getting th pod up so quickly. Also, thank you to you guys for always doing this. It must be quite the commitment but really is enjoyable to listen to.

Just listened to the pod. I skipped ahead to the JMU preview portion. My summaries of opinions presented.

- If JMU played in the Big Sky they'd have one win, vs. Weber, who didn't have their starting QB. With the starting Weber QB they'd probably be 0-12. In fact, only beating Weber by 14 is essentially a loss.
- Montana's Defensive pressure is next level, and that's why nobody has ever beaten Montana. They blitz 15 guys each play, filling all of the gaps (including your mother's), and every QB spends the entire game running for his life.
- JMU is slow. They looked extra slow against SELA. Practically molasses.
- JMU's starting LB Tucker-Dorsey is only 5'10", but he plays like he's 5'4". 5'4" is coincidentally the same height as the real James Madison.
- JMU has never faced a 3-3-5 defense, assuming you ignore the two games this season when they did.
- JMU's OL is made up of high school players. It will be surprising if any of them make it to halftime.
- JMU could never contain Eric Berriere, who is a god on the gridiron. Montana made him look foolish. But also somehow Cole Johnson is kind of better. But not really. He'll play in the Pros, except that he won't.
- The JMU players who were All-Conference are not actually that good because the CAA is not that good. Probably not worthy of 6th team All Big-Sky.
- There will be thousands of Griz fans at the game, and maybe a couple dozen JMU fans.
- Nothing gets these guys more excited than taking a dump in the Minneapolis airport.
- Somehow Camels will play a critical role in the game.

Huh. And to think I've never even thought to seek out a Dukie message board, let alone one of their fan podcasts.

I actually really enjoyed the pod. The hosts seem like good dudes. We've got a couple fan podcasts that are equally homerific. It's always fun to listen to delusional fans (ours and yours!) try to convince themselves that there's zero chance their team will lose.

Anyway, nice work guys.

Thanks for that; it will save me the time of listening to these lengthy podcasts. All I need to know.

Yeah, that pod was clearly only 2/3 homerific.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Best FCS pod I've ever listened to. :thumb:

Hard to equate zero chance to one of the hosts picking JMU to win... 🤔...you sure you listened to all of the JMU talk?

👍 Kem you nailed it.

Chicago Duke your summary saved us a vast amount of time.

Not sure I understand the MSP airport news. I believe that is a good thing. Let’s leave it that way.

Ha Ha, take this and flip it, you have the Dukes message board. Actually, you have to add how the Griz have tried to break and kill most every JMU player in 2004 and 2008. This despite video evidence that JMU participated too......

Yep. Actually, I thought the guys were very complimentary of JMU, to the point that Brint picked them to win. And everyone else basically said the Griz could win if they played a very good (almost perfect) game. Mike predicted a double digit Griz win but it's not like he predicted a beat down.
