Also, it's great that you read the Missoulian. I can't remember the last time I perused the Cheney Weekly Chronicle. Is it still in crayon on construction paper?

I asked them if they are considering staying home and going to EWOO. They both had a good chuckle over that question and then replied that they didn't need another high school diploma. UM is not looking all that great, these days. Declining student enrollment, less funding, layoffs. It is a shadow of its former self.

My degree from EWU has sent me to work at the capitol. I've worked with Governors, Attorneys General and US Senators and Congresspeople. I've worked at the world's largest public relations agency working for clients such as HP, Shell, Kaiser Permanente, Micron and Experian (to name a few.) Now, I'm attending one of the nation's best business schools on scholarship. I don't regret getting my degree from EWU for a second.

You're not wrong, but the worse the school, the better the person has to be. Nobody is sitting in a hiring meeting saying, "Well, Ralph, he seemed kind of vanilla, but he went to EWU so at least you know he's smart."
