During an early season game I watched on TV, the commentators said that DB's not turning to look to the ball is what is taught today. One even went on to say that it is being taught as early as Pee Wee. The Griz DB's do not turn their heads and look for the ball. All they do, is paw at the receiver's arms when they think the ball is about to land. How is this effective? All it does is allow the receiver to catch the ball, or lead to a PI call.

I am certainly no expert. But I just watched countless highlight videos of Richard Sherman and Trumaine Johnson, to name a few. Hey Semore, guess what they do?
