Griz crushing Tech

From all the games I have seen, rebounding will be our achilles heal. We don't seem to be very athletic under the basket and do not block out or leap very well. If we hit the three we stay in the game with the talented teams. Can you believe that Tech out rebounded us. Also we are not that quick. I'm afraid this could be an up and down season but we shall see.

I agree about rebounding and interior defense. Why do you think I am advocating Vanderjagt so much? A 7 footer would have to help I would think. Jordan, Andrew, and Dloughy all have to step it up rebounding. I think Sharp rebounds well from the 3 or 4, chavez does from the 3.

2 games in row on fire from 3 land!!! I think our perimeter shooting is capable of 35% plus every game. We are over 50% each of the last 2 games and Hasquet hardly shot any tonight. Sharp is showing he has some range too. Staudacher and Martin are shooting well of late also.

I just hope the perimeter shooting remains consistent. Hard to imagine it getting worse than it was the 1st handful of games though.

Good job GRIZ, keep it going!!!!!

the team's definitely doing better now. we're shooting better from outside, and our team play is better. tonight's game was good. however, our first half play needs to improve. still too many guys rotating, 11 total played in first half. it's clear now who Tinks needs to go with, which is the current five starters, Sharp, Staudacher, and Chavez. The others need to be worked in when we have a good lead over the opponent. Next week will be a challenge with Oral Roberts and Portland.

UP will be no challenge. Not a good squad for the Pilots this year. Now their crosstown rivals, we have a date on the 28th. :-)

I have to disagree with you regarding the "regular" subs. My guess is we will be looking at Chase, Sharp, Staudacher, Martin and Swift (when he returns) or Mayes.

I agree. PSU has the better squad this year. That Morrison kid will be a force in BSC play. What is it about Morrisons and weird hair?

Heh, no doubt. Not sure what Adam has going on, and I guess you can call Scott's a 'fro-hawk'. ;-)
