Eastside Catholic rolled Bellevue in a shocker for 3A title in Washington tonight. Broke Bellevues 67 game winnng streak. Griz verbal committs Cody Baker (OL/DL #62 6'4", 245, DL for Griz) and Alex Neale (#70, OL , 6'3" 270) both looked very good. They interviewed Baker on TV after the game and he said he and Neale are going to tear it up at Montana next year - he cant wait and will be watching the Griz tomorrow. Sounded like a good kid. Taylor Barton, the Root Sports high school expert commentator said Baker is going to be a "Phenom" at the next level for the Griz. Said the 2 Griz lineman recruits and the rest of the line dominated the line of scrimmage which was the difference in the game. Many replays of game will aire on Root Sports over the next week including saturday night at 5:30 Mtn time. Fun to watch big and talented future Griz.

Watched the game tonight and no. 62 looked like a tremendous athlete. Already looks like he has been hitting the weight room hard for some time. Played both ways on the line but looks to me like he could develop into a top line defensive end. As for no. 70, he looks like the typical wide body O lineman and it appeared to me like the vast majority of runs went downfield right behind him. Overall pretty impressed with both players.
Appears we may be getting a transfer from WSU who was a teammate of Cody and Alex at East side Catholic.

Eastside Catholic is going to be good for a long time. If the Griz can create a pipeline there like they have somewhat at Bellevue, they will be plugged into 2 of the best programs in the west. They both play out of state games against top programs in the west including California and Utah, a new trend in high school football, and both have dominated. More and more crusaders are welcome in Missoula. Bring em in!
