Griz/Boston College Saturday @ Sluggers in Kirkland

Hey all you fans---about 7-8 of us were there on Thursday for the HUGE "W" over Nevada. We plan to do so again Saturday & it looks like game time (for now) is obo 2:30 pm, PST.

Let's pack the joint for another Montana upset!!!!

Is Sluggers going to have the game?

CBS has 3 games going on, during the time slot of the UM game...

Time noted are pacific, for your convenience...

2:30 p.m. NCAA TOURNAMENT SECOND ROUND (Regional; HDTV) -- San Diego, Calif. -- Illinois vs. Washington

2:40 p.m. NCAA TOURNAMENT SECOND ROUND (Regional) -- Salt Lake City, Utah -- Boston College vs. Montana

2:50 p.m. NCAA TOURNAMENT SECOND ROUND (Regional) -- Jacksonville, Fla. -- Texas A&M vs. LSU

Won't CBS be showing the Washington game in Washington?
 
I am in Las Vegas, I am getting anxious wondering if I am going to get the UM game, or not...

I looked on the on-screen program guide (direct tv) and it said TEAMS TO BE ANNOUNCED, and it said that for every time slot...yikes, I hope they update the info here pretty soon.

I might have to drive a couple hours to Utah (St. George), I would guess they would show the action from Salt Lake. Would go all the way to Salt Lake if I knew I could get tickets. Anyone know if I could? (no scalpers) It's not sold out, is it?
 
I spoke with the owner @ Sluggers on Friday & he said they have the package that gets them all the games being telecast--if CBS switches, he has no control over that.

So , as per him, it will be on at his place subject to CBS's decisions....

I called Sluggers today and was told the Griz/BC game is NOT on their list of games they can get, but that I was supposed to try back in a half hour. I'll update as I get more info.
 
Okay, I called again (12:10 pm) and I was told, "We're supposed to have it". It wasn't a real definitive statement, though.
 
I have HDTV at my house here, and yesterday CBS was showing a different game on the HDTV channel than the regular CBS channel. So I'm hoping they do the same today, and possibly get to watch the Montana game. But they'll probably have the UW game on both channels, or with my luck, they'll show the UW game on one channel, and the Texas A&M-LSU game on the other.

Penn, I was hoping the same thing as I noted the same thing you did on Thursday. However, during both the Huskies and Zag game, both KIRO and the CBS HDTV channel had those games on, so I'm figuring the same will be true today, unfortunately. And while I wouldn't mind watching Washington/Illinois, it sure ain't the Griz!!
 
Well, that sucks. I wish I was closer to Kirkland. Hopefully my computer will cooperate and allow me to watch the game on MMOD. But, I guess if all else fails, listening to Mick wouldn't be too bad.
 
So, a message just scrolled across the screen on CBS that the Montana-BC game is available to be seen on the CBS HDTV channel right not, with the UW-Illinois game on KIRO 7. So, is the Griz game on the HDTV channel right now? Nope. Sweet CBS. :finger: Don't mind listening to Mick, but sure would like a picture.
