Two points, first, it was great to see Chase Reynolds with the staff working the Yellowstone Youth Football Skills and Drills Camp at the Metra last night. He was very proactive with the kids and we were able to get a brief conversation with him. Dwan Edwards from Columbus has been doing Billings camps for the kids for many years now. Our grandson, in his Cougar shirt, got a little extra attention from Dwan. The event was a big hit, promoting youth football and football safety.

Second, the coaching staff and their tour will be in Billings tonight for our annual Griz BBQ at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center, 5 PM, with the golfing event at Laurel tomorrow. Our sponsorship numbers are up again and we expect another great evening as the coaches are just great at this. We had 300 last year and have expanded into a larger room for tonight. Who said Billings was a Bobcat town....

We are headed to the Swan today so I am reluctantly going to miss it, although there will be enough folks there so you won't miss me. Have a great time!

I'm going to try to get to the Swan as well!

Hauck has matured into a very good speaker. My favorite line tonight when talking about the process of RTD and describing his pre-game pep talk when there, "We are the Montana Grizzlies; they aren't."

Great event; well over 300 in attendance again and should yield a very good sum for the GSA.

His short story at Ronan was good too. He was talking about catching his wife at his age now. It is like a dog chasing a car, if the dog ever catches a car, the dog doesn't know what to do with it.

He got some good chuckles from that one.

Best Hauck story from last night.

He had just got back from recruiting right before Christmas last year and his wife walks into the kitchen in the morning and he is sitting at the breakfast table talking to himself. Stacey says Bobby, are you still thinking about that last game, you need to let it go. Bobby said he looked up at his wife and said "honey, I am still pissed about the 2003 game so deal with it"!!!!!!

He told that one at Ronan too.

Bobby last night speaking of the neighbors to the east, "You know that place where we don't stop to buy gas. We'll soon have little brother back under our thumbs. If any of you out there are Bobcat fans, go ahead and spread the word, you'll soon be back under our thumbs."
