GRIZ at the AO

I wasn't there, but question for you - is the flight there as horrible as everyone says? Never been on a plane longer than eight hours...sounds awful.
Flown Lax to Sydney, and returned Melbourne to Lax. Longest flights I have been on. Best thing I did was drive on the wrong side of the road legally from Adalaide to Melbourne along the Great Ocean road.

My wife would promptly admonish you and say "OTHER side".

I spent pretty much the entire month of August in Australia that I became used to the "OTHER side". It almost became a problem when I got back home. Nearly went to the "OTHER side" the first time I drove a vehicle after getting back.

Likewise!

If you ever fly business class overseas, you better do it every time after that, because doing it once will make coach feel 1,000x worse lmao

Yeah, Ever since I went first class to Galipagos in 2014 I never wanted to fly overseas in coach again.

Flew down to Santiago, Chile and back from Buenos Aires, Argentina this past November on Delta. Wasn't called Business Class but it was the next best thing from first class with footrests and an actual meal that I ordered a week in advance.

Premium Select! Agree, it's great when I'm on a budget but don't want to spend 10 hours in cattle class. It's not crazy expensive, the seats are nice and the booze is plentiful.

This post was not sponsored by Delta but I wouldn't say no if they wanted to kick some travel vouchers my way

Okay so I was fortunate to spend a couple of weeks in Australia and 4 days at the Australian Open. I saw 3 men with GRIZ hats on, and all 3 got a huge "Go GRIZ" from me. Anyone of those 3 someone on the board??
Where did you stay? We stayed at the Grand Hyatt. There were lots of players there. We interacted with a few. Added to the excitement.

Same thing happened to me after 10 days in Ireland.
