Great game by the Griz today.

Do not have the stats, But Dlouhy had 19 points, earned player of the game.

Strait had around 16 points.

Ellis had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals.

Criswell, 10 points.

Matthews had 11 points, 7 assists, 5 steals, 37 minutes.

Griz were down by 4 at halftime. Didn't exactly take a lead under 12 - 15 minutes left (didn't exactly check time that much).

But, big run at the end, many Cat turnovers, Griz widen lead to what it finished.

One other player that deserves mention is Jordan Hasquet. He was one of the key players in getting the run started that got the Griz the big lead and win.

Griz on the road to NAU and Sac State next week. This will be one TOUGH road trip. Sac St will be huge if the Griz can beat them on the road.

Griz play NAU first. Will be the game Griz most expected to win.

Griz wins the boards 31 - 21. That may have been a bigger key.

Now that the stats became available on montanagrizzlies.com, I just had to add some more info:

Griz got 23 points off turnovers versus only 13 for the Cats.

That 10 rebound advantage the Griz had over the Cats lead to a 14 to 4 advantage on second chance points.

Finally, Griz depth reigns big time, Griz Bench outscored Cats 16 - 9.
