Back to normal folks, well sort of normal. Attendance is back to normal.

But, what wasn't normal is the poor shooting in the first half by the Griz. They definitely looked like a team that needed to be inspired or something. Griz were slow and sluggish in the first half.

The refs did not please Krysko one bit. At one time in first half, Krysko got so mad, that Tinkle had to take over during a timeout while Krysko cooled off a bit.

But, second half, after a good motivational talk by Krysko, Griz came out firing on all cylinders. Griz never did get their shooting average up to 50% in this game, but definitely played with more intensity in second half. For the game, Griz shot 43.9% from the field, but shot 51.4% in the second half.

Second game in a row that 5 players scored in double figures.

Strait and Criswell lead the team with 17 points each.
Dlouhy had 13 points, Martin had 10 points, and Matthews had 10 points.

Griz won the rebounding battle by 9, 44 - 35. Matthews lead the team with 9 rebounds, Strait had 8, and Dlouhy had 7.

Griz turned the ball over 17 times, most of them in the first half.

Griz shot 14 - 17 from the free throw line.

Next up:

Mississippi Valley State in the Drake Tournament.

Next home game MT Tech - final week so this may not be bad as it looks, as they are students first, basketball players second.

Actually True they play Western MT on Wednesday.

Damn, your right. I had the schedule right in front of me, and I still read it wrong. But, same difference, a game that should be easy.

I noticed a poster can't edit a post anymore. Where is the button for editing a post that needs to be corrected? Used to be able to edit a post before.

Im not too worried about people coming to the game so much as the Students. It was a good showing by the students on a tuesday night! The people will come once we really start winning but its good that the students are starting to show up. The western game will be a throw away but we have a big crowd for the Wisconsin Mil game. We played an great second half but I would really like to see us rebound the ball alittle better on defense. Giving teams second chances is going to catch up to us sooner or later.

If the Griz keep playing like this there is a chance they could end up on ESPN on bracket buster Saturday!! Bring on the Zags!

It was fun watching the Griz win convincingly despite an off night shooting and questionable calls. The Griz didnt seem to let the bad calls get to them. By the way, there were bad calls both ways.

I like how the Griz kill the other teams rally. There is a lot of potential on that team.

 Remaining calm and logging in may correct this problem.

Assuming Griz win the BSC, regardless of how well they do during the season the lowly reputation of the conference will doom them into playing a #1 or #2 seed - then out. Trying to make an impression on the selection committee will be like swimming Flathead Lake with a boat anchor around your neck. ISU footballers vs. ISU basketballers, MSU edging out and NAIA team at home and Weber State losing at home to somebody called Utah Valley? The Griz have quickly outgrown this crowd of underachievers.

If get to play in NCAA the No. 1 is who you want now days. As per last year I was there to see the big win if it happened but the bad start took care of that but I will be glad to get after No. 1 only I may have to watch it on TV. If you get by 1 you are seeded high for the rest of the games. Montana vs Washington was a pretty good shot. Got to be there to get the shot. I would rather lose to a No. 1 rather than to Stanford who will be seeded somewhere in the end. If MT gets there they will be pretty dandy.
