It was an exciting game overall, but also a total bummer. Davis may be haunted about the two missed freethrows for quite sometime.

Mansell being out with a sprained ankle sure didn't help, but Lynch came in and played one heck of a good game at point. But hardly any of his shots would make it in.

Griz didn't shoot that well today which hurt them. But still managed to score 74 points in regulation. But one basket and two free throws in overtime will not win many games.

Griz will just have to suck it in and win a game on the road and then travel to Cheney and win back to back games there. That is, if they make 5th or 6th place.

PSU must lose today to Weber State. That I know is a must. I think that will happen because Weber State is playing well now, and will be one of the favorites to win the conference. WSU if winning today, should get second place. But, I will let those who really care about what places other teams get to check that out.

It was a exciting game to watch. It really hurt the Griz to lose Mansell, even though he wasn't having a great game, he really does run the offense well. When he got hurt the Griz had to rely on a true freshman walkon, who did very well, but it still wasn't the same team without Mansell's defense and passing.

The officiating was pretty bad on both ends. I don't think it cost either team but there were quite a few questionable calls against both teams. Also, just out of curiosity, did anyone else see the NAU coach run onto the floor to direct Golob (I think it was Golob he was pusing) to go the other way on NAU's last play? The people behind where I was sitting were yelling about it so I know it wasn't just me imagining it. That seemed kind of odd. I've never really seen a coach do something like that before.

Those 2 free throws were huge at the end. If Kamaar makes one, the game is over and the Griz have a first round bye. I feel bad for Kamaar, he played a great game, and is a very good free throw shooter. Its too bad just one of them couldn't have gone in for him and the Griz.

The Griz are still in decent shape, obviously not as good of shape as they would've been beating NAU (2nd place no matter what), but if WSU beats PSU, the Griz will be 5th or 6th and make the big sky tournament. If WSU beats PSU, and EWU beats ISU, the Griz will be 5th. If WSU beats PSU and ISU beats EWU, the Griz will be 6th. If somehow PSU beats WSU, the Griz would have to rely on EWU beating ISU and SAC beating MSU in order to make the tournament. If PSU wins, and ISU wins, the Griz are in 8th, or if PSU wins and MSU wins the Griz are in 7th. The scenarios left are up at This Link

PSU Losing is the big thing right now, if PSU loses to WSU, the Griz are in no matter what.

Lets hope PSU loses and the Griz get in the tournament. The Griz had a great 5 game winning streak going. Lets hope they get another winning streak started next Saturday.

Yep, sure did notice it. Unfortunately, it didn't look like the refs noticed it.

That was possibly the most exciting game I have watched all year, and when it comes down to the end I want Davis shooting free thows. Unfortunately missing 3 of his last four, seems like the way things have gone for the griz all year, potential unrealised. I'll bet Davis doesn't miss any free trows during the tourney, but they will lose the first round regardless - too hard to beat a team 3 times in a season, twice in their court.

Either way I have to say I am proud of the way the Griz pulled together to finish the stretch. They really showed some heart when almost everyone (including me) except Dexter and GrizGirl had given up on them. I wish I could have eaten a little more crow, and hope I still might this season, but at least Kennedy restored my hope in the team, and in the future. Go Griz!
